Your Real Portland Tour Guide

I was born and raised right here, in this great town of Portland, ME. The only time I’ve lived away from here was during my college years playing baseball at Northeastern University in Boston, and my time in grad school in Washington, DC. I was recently blessed with starting a family, and I now own a home in the very same Portland neighborhood in which I grew up.

Back in 2001, I was nominated to give the first ever duck tour in Portland's history. After that first tour, I knew that sharing the story of my hometown with others was my true calling. After many years of giving duck tours, I started my own tour company, giving visitors and locals alike an authentic tour, from a real local's perspective. It is my hope that this tour will instill in you the same pride I have for this town that Longfellow once coined "The Jewel By The Sea."   

In addition to being a tour guide, I also have a Master's degree in Library Science and am a librarian part-time during the school year at Southern Maine Community College. I've spent years researching the hidden history of Portland. You'll hear me quoting Longfellow during the tour, you'll hear some wicked good puns, and you may even hear my own poem/rap about Portland history that has aired on local radio stations. I take pride in giving an excellent tour of my hometown!
